Theology Lounge?
Our society is marred by division and strife and there is a lot of spiritual and cultural confusion around us. At Theology Lounge, we create a safe environment where people can get together to tackle issues and questions that are raised in our society, from the everyday existential anxieties or cultural clichés that bother us at every turn, to some of life's toughest and most complex questions, for which we seldom find time in our busy schedule. Theology Lounge offers you the opportunity to disconnect from the ‘cultural noise’ of our ‘immediate existence’ and turn your attention to what is genuinely important and long-lasting.
Join the conversation, (whether online or through the events we are organizing), on topics and questions such as:
- . What does it mean to be human?
- . The Question of God.
- . What is truth?
- . The human quest for meaning.
- . Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
- . The problem of religious experience.
- . Can faith and reason be reconciled?
- . Ethics and character.
- . Can theology be ‘scientific’?
Of course, there are many other subjects and questions that can (and will be) discussed in our meetings. Everyone is welcome! While every meeting will have specific concerns and objectives, our facilitators will always make sure that your questions matter and that all participants are treated with dignity.
